Be part of a change-making programme

If you would like the young ocean activists in your life to be part of a change-making programme to eliminate unnecessary single use plastic from nurseries and schools, you’re in the right place!

As a parent or carer, you can put pressure on your nursery or school to take part in this pupil-led programme. It will empower pupils, give them confidence and equip them with the tools to make positive, lasting changes; from contacting politicians, to eliminating unnecessary single-use plastic from their schools.

First, you’ll need to get a teacher to sign up to the programme.

We have provided this helpful template email or letter for you. There is also one for pupils to send to their teachers here. If everyone asks the teacher, they can’t say no, right?

Fill it in and send it off!

Good luck!

We can’t wait to see what you achieve and hope to be awarding you a Plastic Free Schools plaque very soon!
